The Comic Con trailer action continues today with a whole lot of superhero fun. We have a killer Arrow season three trailer, a villainous Gotham tease, a longer look at Constantine, and the Person of Interest team going underground. There is also a healthy helping of zombie and vampire fun. Check out all of the trailers below.
The Originals are prepping one hell of a family reunion for season two.
Not only is Mikael back and wielding a deadly stake that can take out Klaus, Klaus and Elijah’s mother also appears to have returned in the form of a recently awakened, ultra powerful witch. Adding to the chaos is Hayley’s increased violence now that she is a hybrid and Klaus’ continued ruse that their daughter is dead and the family dynamics become all the more complicated.
The Originals season two premieres Monday October 6th at 8/7c on The CW.
Arrow‘s trailers never fail to top whatever blockbuster teaser that is making the rounds, and the season three Comic Con trailer is no exception. Let me just hit a few of the high points for you: Oliver and Felicity are going on a date, Felicity ends up bloody, a second leg to Oliver’s formative journey is revealed, Malcolm Merlyn gets a serious moment of awesome and Raâs al Ghul is introduced as the season’s biggest bad of them all. Can we just fast forward to October?
Arrow season three premieres Wednesday, October 8th at 8/7c on The CW.
Hey, how did everyone fail to mention Constantine has two Lost alums? Harold Perrineau and Jeremy Davies both show up in the Comic Con trailer which adds a few new layers to the story of demon hunter Constantine. Instead of just introducing our quippy, troubled hero, the trailer also delves into some the cases he will be working on, including one involving a possessed little boy (always a safe bet for achieving maximum creepiness). Are you planning on tuning in this fall?
Constantine premieres Friday, October 24th at 10/9c on NBC.
“This is war.”
Person of Interest is turning the gang’s world upside down in the new season four trailer. New identities are assumed, some people are less interested in returning to the saving the world game than others and a mysterious woman is taking out everyone who knows about the machine. Can five people and a dog really handle this situation?
Person of Interest season four premieres Tuesday, September 23rd at 10/9c on CBS.
The birth of The Penguin, a young Catwoman lurking on rooftops and little Bruce Wayne beginning the training that will one day make him Batman– the new Gotham trailer has all of that, plus time to establish the shaky partnership between Gordan (Ben McKenzie) and Detective Harvey (Donal Logue). The more of Gotham Fox reveals, the more the crime-riddled city looks like a fascinating place to visit.
Gotham premieres Monday, September 22nd on Fox.
We all know death is coming for a Simpsons character in the Sunday, Season 26th premiere on Fox…but will it be Homer? Of course not, but the fake out clip from the season premiere in which Homer gets into a fight with his breathing mask is a welcome bit of slapstick to lighten the mood. Now return to your speculation. There are still two months left to ponder which Springfield resident is a goner.
Hot in Cleveland meets…The Walking Dead? Miracles really do happen at Comic Con.
The Hot in Cleveland team were on hand to tease an upcoming animated outing that explores what might have been if LeBron James had never left the city and a zombie apocalypse hit. No, I have no idea how those two things fit together, but the clip, in which Mamie Sue tries to reason with the zombies, is pretty fantastic (bad animation and all).
Hot in Cleveland‘s animated outing airs Wednesday, July 30th at 10PM ET/PT on TV Land.
