‘Eureka’ and ‘Haven’ star Colin Ferguson has been cast in the sixth season of the CW’s Vampire Dairies, TV Line is reporting.
Ferguson joins the series in the role of the character Tripp, who is described as the head of a community militia. Ferguson’s Tripp will be determined to do anything he can to protect his town even of that means making enemies. Executive producer Julie Plec took to Twitter on Monday to share what fans can expect to see when the series returns.
“He’s in town to give Sheriff Forbes a run for her money. #TVD,” Plec wrote.
Ferguson’s character will be introduced in the series’ sixth season premiere. Ferguson joins the recently cast Gabrielle Walsh has also been cast in the show’s sixth season in the role of Sarah. Walsh will also make her debut on the showâs premiere that is set to air on Oct. 2 at 8/7c.
