Coming off a hit first season, Penny Dreadful is set to bring its special brand of Gothic horror to San Diego Comic Con goers. Showtime has announced Penny Dreadful is set to headline the opening day of Comic Con 2014, Thursday, July 24th with a panel session from 6:00 â€" 7:00 pm in Ballroom 20. Stars Josh Hartnett, Reeve Carney and Harry Treadaway and series creator, writer and executive producer John Logan will be in attendance. Aisha Tyler will serve as host.
Additionally, Penny Dreadful will leave its mark on all Con goers with branded lanyards featuring the show’s logo. There will also be exclusive action figures, tarot cards and special editions of the classic books like “Dracula” and “Frankenstein” that inspired the series available for purchase.
